LIFE.

Hello my beloved,
It is a confusing morning full of mixed emotions as I wake up to terrible news about the earthquake in Japan and the Tsunami warnings here in the westcoast. As I try to digest my thoughts of fear and uncertainty I can only proclaim the name of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and as I try to hold on unto the promises He has made to His children I can only imagine what the last thoughts of the ones who faced their destiny this day, I wonder what is our life, it reminds me of James 4: 14 "it is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away."  As I meditate on this verse it brings a new perspective for my life, whether you are a follower of Jesus Christ or not I believe this words of encouragement will persuade you to think twice about where is your life heading. Many people this Friday in Japan woke up without thinking that they would not come back home... imagine for a minute, what would you do if an angel appeared to you at 10am and tell you that you only have until around 2-4pm this same day to live...What would you do? it's a scary though nevertheless this is what happen to hundreds of people in Japan.. my question is what legacy did they live behind.. if I were to call their loved ones what would they say about them... were they caring, spiritual, loving, rude, depressed, or living life to the fullest! As I think of this answers one thing comes to mind one of Erma Bombeck reflections on life mentions that " life is  a journey and a personal mission statement is your map " think about this reflection .. why don't you take a moment to think about a personal mission statement, think about your dreams, character, purpose, and achievements. A mission statement for a company tells others who and what are they about, your mission statements should say the same about you. My mission is to streghten my spiritual journey continue to know my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and follow him in the Great Commission He has left behind ... therefore I invite you that if you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior and would like to meet him repeat this words with a sincere heart and believe " Lord, although I don't know what my future holds, I know today you are giving me an opportunity to be called a child of God, I ask for forgiveness and ask you to come into my heart, I give you my past, present, and future, today is the beginning of a new journey in my life..focus on you as my Lord and Savior. Amen " I invite you to pray for the families of the victims in Japan that are left behind, don't forget Christianity is not passive without faith is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). God wants us to live abundantly so enjoy what you have until you get to where you are going and make the best of what you already have. Be bless, be happy, and focus on the plan God has for you. With Love in Christ...believe.act.respond.embrace. in truth and with thanksgiving.
